The Federal College of Land Resources Technology, Kuru-Jos (FECOLART, Kuru) was established in 1968 (formerly known as the Federal Soil Conservation School) and later approved by the Federal Government in the 1981-1985 4th National Development Plan. It is owned by the Federal Government under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. The college’s mandate is to train middle-level manpower in agricultural land/soil resources and environmental and climate change management.
