The Enugu State College of Nursing Sciences was established through the merging of existing Schools of Nursing and Midwifery in the state. The Augwu campus has a history rooted in the former School of Nursing, Awgu, which was established in 1958. One of the campuses of the Enugu State College of Nursing Sciences.
